Art Restoration Program

Galileo Institute will provide the knowledge on how to restore art pieces and the processes needed to avoid serious deterioration caused by fire, excessive humidity, human negligence, or natural causes.

It is important for us to support the preservation of art which embeds itself in history; to acknowledge the valuable work done by artists, which has been a reflection of our own culture.

Our academic components are well developed to generate true professionals; Galileo Institute will stimulate research oriented minds, which is a very important aspect to consider in this field. In addition, we encourage solving aesthetic, physical, and conceptual problems.

Museums, art galleries, tourism guides, convents, educational centers, restoring workshops, and historic consulting in public and private enterprises.

Professional Profile

Galileo Institute's professional visionary will have the skills to start or improve small businesses, with the ability to create new products and services, and the technical and practical knowledge to be a professional, visionary artist using different techniques for preserving and restoring art.

The student will also learn color and lighting techniques based on international regulations, contributing to the recovery of cultural heritage with sensibility and ethics.
